I didn't want to have to tear out my wall and put cement board down to put up my kitchen backsplash. I was wandering around lowes and saw this and another similar product. I don't have much knowledge with doing tile so I figured I'd go home and take a look at it online to see what the reviews were and such. After researching I picked up 2 rolls. Yes it's a little pricey but worth it. No mess. The only issue is trying to cut.. it had a tendency to want to roll back up, so I used pins and placed it on cardboard to make the cuts but once I placed it on the wall it worked out fine. I read some reviews by people who are experienced and I think maybe because they were experience that they didn't read the directions. The paper can be repositioned if you don't press it down firmly. Which they say not to do until you are ready... same thing goes with the tiles. My backsplash had a mesh backing and the only ones I couldn't get off were the ones that I had already pushed in for the 5 seconds. When we grouted you have to grout within 24 hrs it says. I had a lot of little pieces around my outlets and up around my window and they stuck with no issues. I may be a novice by my step dad who helped me has tiled many bathrooms and kitchens and he was skeptical at first but in the end was impressed by how well it worked. just follow the directions...
Pros High quality, Durable

Bought Musselbound to tile the wall above my fiberglass shower. Used subway tile and glass tile on a net backing. Applied tiles and used fingertips to gently press in place. Tiles slipped or started to peel away and decided it was time to read the directions. Realized was not FIRMLY pressing the tiles in place using the grout float like the directions and videos say to do. Once started doing that, the tiles WERE STUCK!!! This stuff really is quick and easy.
Pros quick, easy

We used Musselbound to tile a backsplash in our kitchen. I had tiled the old fashioned way once before and this was easier and a lot less messy. I was worried about getting all the cuts done right around outlets/cabinets/window, but the directions were clear and complete. Product was easy to handle and move around until it was pushed hard into place. I plan on buying more to use in our bathroom.
Pros easy, quick
