MusselBound Mat

MusselBound Mat is a white, double-sided adhesive tile mat that replaces messy and difficult to use mortar (aka thinset or mastic) with “Peel and Stick Simplicity.” Installing wall tile is so much faster and easier with MusselBound. Whether you are a tile-setting professional who wants to GROUT THE SAME DAY, or a do-it-yourselfer, new tile can be installed in three easy steps – PEEL, SET and GROUT. Each roll of MusselBound covers 15 square feet of surface. Rolls are 12 inches by 15 feet

Mini Roll

To make MusselBound Adhesive Tile Mat even more DIY friendly, we developed a 3” width roll that reduces the need to cut our standard 12” mat into smaller pieces. MusselBound Mini Roll is designed for typical small or tight spaces. It is also a perfect size for craft projects like mirror borders, serving trays, picture frames or handmade mosaic tile projects. Each Mini Roll covers 3.75 square feet of surface. Rolls are 3 inches by x 15 feet.

Seam Tape

When our customers told us they wanted to use MusselBound for shower/tub walls and around sinks, we developed MusselBound System Seam Tape. Seam Tape is a clear, single-sided adhesive that seals the seams of MusselBound Mat making MusselBound not only the tile adhesive but also the waterproofing barrier. Each roll of Seam Tape seals 2 rolls of MusselBound Mat. Rolls are 2 inches x 37.5 feet.

Tile Spacers

We also heard from MusselBound users about their struggles with traditional tile spacers that can’t touch the messy mortar, resulting in 3 spacers falling out every time a new tile is installed. We developed MusselBound Tile Spacers, another gamechanger in simplifying your tile project. Our Spacers are easy to hold, easy to move, and never fall out as they temporarily adhere to the Mat. Tiles install even faster when the spacers are not fighting you. Each roll of Mat contains three sizes 1/16, 3/32 and 1/8 inch thickness.

Grout Detailer Tool

Grout is usually applied with a bulky trowel-like grout float. During grouting, the excess grout must be scraped off the tile with the edge of the float and followed by cleaning the tile with the sponge and buckets of water. To make it easier to apply grout in tight spaces, edges and corners, we developed the Grout Detailer Tool. The tool is an upgraded squeegee that is durable and flexible which makes applying grout in tight spaces easier. It also cleans excess grout from the tiles which reduces repetitive sponge cleaning. Lightweight and ergonomic, the Detailer Tool is designed with unique copolymers that make it similar to a soft-grip squeegee.

Outlet Spacers

Beautiful new wall tile projects often finish with an unpleasant surprise when DIYers realize the newly installed tile has made outlets and switches “sunken” behind electrical faceplates (which is unsightly and potentially dangerous), creating a new project that needs fixing. Our Outlet Spacers are the EASY and QUICK solution. DIY user-friendly, Fold ‘N Stack, custom-thickness spacers simply snap onto each outlet bolt to bring flush with the new beautiful tile surface. Each package contains 40 spacers with each outlet bolt typically using 2 – 4 spacers.
