I saw Mussel bound on an episode of This Old House. I have set plenty of tile over the last 20 years and thought to give this a try. Watched a couple videos, read the directions and away I went. Started my first piece of mat in an easy area to apply to, got a feel for it, and from there out was a piece of cake. Half our later I was setting the backsplash. I made sure to press firmly once I had tile exactly where I wanted it and was convinced they would never move. Immediately after that I applied the grout. Fast and Easy and I have never had a job with minimal clean up (nice to not have mastic all over the place) and out the door in the same afternoon! Will be using again.

Was easy to use – made doing the backsplash a quick and easy job. Also made it easy to fix errors or test ways to line up the tile. Easy clean up and easy to do repairs.

My wife wanted to change our back splash. I’m not very handy and the idea of mixing mortar and spreading it out scared me. I checked out the instructions and web site and decided to give it a try. It is easy to use and the tile spacers worked great. It might cost a little more than mortar but it was easy and much cleaner to use. I was also able to grout right away which was great. I recommend this product to anyone that has a tile project.

Works way better than I expected. Actually needed a a hammer to lift pieces I needed to adjust. Easy to use, great hold. Quick replacement for mortar base.

EASY to use no need of any mortar just clean your walls, apply, and stick! All done in just one day and all we had to do was grout right after without letting anything dry like mortar! very happy with the end product! highly recommended.
