Just did a 45 sq ft subway and mosaic stone backsplash. Came out great. Did bathroom about 7 years ago, still looks awesome.

Used to install tile bathroom sink backsplash. When I saw the product I thought no way, too good to be true. Talk to Lowe’s associate. She said she had used it and thought it was a great product. So I tried it, it was amazing. I do not think I would use it on floors or showers but for backsplash it is perfect. MAKE SURE the tile is exactly where you want it when it comes into contact with the membrane. DO NOT try and shift the tile like you might in mortar. Once it in the Membrane push in place and hold for 5 seconds.

Just completed our second project with MusselBound. Used it before on a smaller project for a bathroom sink, backsplash and loved it. This time we decided to take on the kitchen, in addition to not having the mess and extra work of mixing and applying mortar, the newly included spacers made this bigger project much easier. Tile looks great, and was simple and easy to do.

I used MusselBound close to 10 years ago to do my backsplash and it worked great. I just used it again to tile over the dated tile on my tub walls. It was still amazing and the new Tile Spacers they include inside the rolls made it even easier.

This product worked great. I used it to add a glass mosaic backsplash to my bathroom. No mess. I would recommend it.

I bought this for shower walls. Short version: Backer Board + 3.5 packs of Adhesive Tile Mat / Membrane (this stuff) + “Sticky-Back” VINYL tile + Vinyl Tile Grout and Caulk + Trewax in Satin Finish = perfection The first time I used this stuff I bought it trying to avoid using backer board. I thought it would save me some time. I just leveled out the green board until I thought it looked level, which took more time than if I had just used backer board, which would have also looked better. I made it work but wish I had just used the backer board. Second bathroom I bought backer board and vinyl tile glue. Glue didn’t stick and lost half the tiles overnight. Went back to Lowe’s for more of this stuff. Worth it. I complained before about this stuff being difficult to work with, but it seems to be very forgiving, and sticks really well even after my many misplaced tiles that had to be corrected. I used this under (not-so-sticky) “stickyback” vinyl tile and it still held, which I was concerned about. I had to pull up the stickyback tile after it didn’t adhere correctly the first time without this stuff and even after pulling the tiles off and reusing them on this, it held great. It took 3.5 of these to do one tub shower surround, so it isn’t cheap, but worth the time and effort if you ask me. You can also patchwork it if you’re running low and have a long skinny strip left. I’m keeping the scraps around as double sided tape for any other household projects I have! Yes, I’m using vinyl tile on a shower wall. Yes, I know it’s not recommended, but I wanted to prove it could be done, so here goes nothing. I’m using linoleum wax on it for an extra line of defense. So far so good! In the pics I haven’t finished with trim yet, but you can see how nice the walls look. I will be using vinyl trim. I’ve been using one of the showers for a month now with no problems. Hope this helps someone.

Used this fantastic product to update an old mirror for my bathroom remodeling. Was able to attach decorative tile left over from my shower to make a complimentary mirror.

This product allows you to skip the tile set/mortar mess and get right to the application. It was easy to apply and seems to have good adhesion. You can adjust the tiles if you do it before you press them into the foam. I would use this again for wall application in non-shower areas.

Now I only used this for a small backsplash in my guest bathroom. Application area was approximately 6″ x 48″ but it worked wonderfully. The strip had to be cut with a chop saw but was not too difficult to do. It went up on the wall very easily and the tile went on it very easily as well. This would probably be a costly option on a larger area but for my needs, it was money well spent.

I was looking to install a glass mosaic backsplash in one of my bathrooms. I was grabbing all the mortar etc when I noticed this on the shelf and thought no mixing no mess and I can grout when done which saves me time. So I took the chance and it was great. I simply rolled it on the wall and cut where I needed to. As far as the glass tiles they stick and you can pull them off if you need to reset, keep in mind no wiggle so know your tile application. I slapped them all on, and broke out my grout, let it sit for 6 hours then sealed. It has been almost a year now and they are holding strong. I think this is a great product all around. Apologies some pics are sideways, it seems to happen when they upload and I can’t rotate them upright.
