After debating for a while I decided to install the kitchen backsplash myself and using this product made it so much easier to install the tile. I have to say that I was a little nervous at first because I did not want to ruin my wifes kitchen but after setting the first sheet of tile on the mat… boy I was impressed by how good it holds on to the tiles. I don’t understand why people are giving it such bad reviews. This product works great!! No problems whatsoever just remember to clean and prep the surface real good before laying the mat, I believe that’s the secret!

It has been 2 years since I used this product for adding ceramic tile to the wall above a shower in our home. It is easy to work with. Follow the directions closely and all should go well. At least it did for me. It has been 2 years and the wall still looks great! Even if I have to say so myself. 😉

I am so glad we gave this a try! We used it for glass tiles in our kitchen. The adhesive is super strong and seems like it’s gonna hold up well over time. The only downside was that once I placed a tile, it was very difficult to change placement. It immediately stuck. We’ll be using this in our bathroom next.

I am a huge fan of Musclebound, as it greatly expedited the installation of the backsplash in my kitchen, as well as the tile in the bathtub surround of my guest bathroom. NO MESS! It sticks beautifully to sheetrock and cement backerboard and makes tile installation quick, painless, and foolproof. HOWEVER! It will not work on Schluter’s Kerdi Board (which I just learned the hard way). Carla from Musslebound’s customer support stepped in and very generously offered me a refund for those roles of Musselbound that would not stick to the Kerdi Board. Exemplary customer support, and an extraordinary product. There is nothing better for walls.

Thank you MusselBound for making my DIY shower tiling project, just as you claim, as easy as 1-2-3.

I utilized the tile mat for a glass tile mosaic back splash. It was very easy to use and made placing the tiles a breeze. I followed the instructions and ensured the wall was clean then began adding the mat and tile. Since I’m only doing pieces at a time I wait to add the adhesive to the wall till I’m ready to add the cut tile then put it all up and grout it. It’s easy to cut and place around outlets and corners and there’s no mess from mortar. It’s been up for a week and is still holding strong!

Easiest way to put up tile without the mortar. I had no problem with it not holding, like I did with another competitor’s product from Home Depot. It’s easy to work with, and does exactly what it is supposed to do, the first time. You won’t be disappointed.

I have used this product twice. With 2 × 8 inch tile, and mosaic sheets. East to place on the wall. The one challenge I had is with the mosaic backing sticking and being a bit difficult to adjust, before pushing in place. As soon as the tile is up you can grout. This product is much less messy, and saves installation time.

Wanted to update my mom’s old 70’s back splash. Went to Lowe’s to look for tile and found a great mosaic ~ only problem was I had never tiled before. Sales guy told me about Musselbound because it would be easier, save steps of figuring out mortar, and I wouldn’t have to take down the old laminate back splash. It was so easy to work with and by choosing a mosaic with a mesh on the back, I could cut most everything with scissors or a utility knife. Someone who has tiled before could have probably done it in one day, ~ took me two. Could grout as soon as tile was up. Great stuff!
