This product is perfect for a beginner to intermediate handyman or homeowner who enjoys a good DIY. It is easy and simple to install on walls and it can handle the weight of almost any type of tile. I loved the how much more convenience it brought to doing a backsplash.
Was easy to use – made doing the backsplash a quick and easy job. Also made it easy to fix errors or test ways to line up the tile. Easy clean up and easy to do repairs.

My wife wanted to change our back splash. I’m not very handy and the idea of mixing mortar and spreading it out scared me. I checked out the instructions and web site and decided to give it a try. It is easy to use and the tile spacers worked great. It might cost a little more than mortar but it was easy and much cleaner to use. I was also able to grout right away which was great. I recommend this product to anyone that has a tile project.
This is a fast way to complete a backsplash. I just wish it came in a larger roll as an option. I’ve tiled over a backsplash using this without a challenge.
Just did a 45 sq ft subway and mosaic stone backsplash. Came out great. Did bathroom about 7 years ago, still looks awesome.
My sister used Mussel bound to tile her backsplash and highly recommended it to me. I have never tiled and am not really handy. MusselBound and the glass subway tile went on really easy. Now I am recommending it to everyone!!!
I heard about MusselBound from a friend and decided to do my backsplash which I have never tiled before. This was as easy as the product says. Love the tile spacers too. Really cool.
I have used Mussel Bound on many backsplashes and it works great. The spacers are awesome because when I used the traditional spacers they kept falling out. I also used MusselBound on the back of the metal edging to make it into a self adhered sticker and then apply MusselBound onto the surface of the metal edge to set the tile. TOO EASY AND CLEAN.
Backsplash installation. The product is waterproof barrier as well as eliminating a process and time waiting for the thin set to cure. Anytime tile needs to be installed on the wall I will definitely use this product!
